Potential issues on iOS 17.5+ update

Due to reasons beyond our control, recent iOS update version 17.5 may cause issues with blocks or your app groups.

Basic Troubleshooting

1. Reload your Blocks

Tap ๐Ÿ”„ on top right of your Blocks tab to refresh your blocks.


2. Update your app groups

Go to your Blocks and make sure the list of blocked apps is correct. Learn how to do that here.

Advanced Troubleshooting

If you notice that your Sessions are still not working correctly, please follow these steps:

  1. Delete all the Opal Sessions, App Limits, and App Locks
  2. Delete all app groups
  3. Open your Blocks tab and click the arrow in the top right corner
  4. Head to Profile > Settings > FAQs > Troubleshooting > Click and hold on Reset my Screen Time.

Once those steps are complete, you'll need to recreate your Sessions. Please let our Support team know in app if problems persist after those steps are complete.
