How to log back into Opal or reinstall the Opal app, and retrieve your account.

If you logged out of your Opal account or deleted the Opal app from your device, you can easily re-install the app, log back in, and retrieve your account. To do just that, please follow these steps:

If you created an Account with your Email or Apple Connect

If you created an account with your email or Apple Connect, please open the Opal app on your iOS device by tapping this link from your iPhone. This will take you to the login screen. If you have not installed Opal yet, it will ask you to download Opal from the App Store.

If you are reading this on your desktop, you can instead point your phone camera to the QR code below.

Alternatively, you may open the Opal app and navigate to your Settings (accessible from the top right corner of your "Profile" tab). From there, you may sign in to your Opal account using the same email or Apple Connect method you used when you initially created your Opal account. You should now be logged in! If you aren't seeing your Pro subscription reflected in your account after you log back in, please follow the instructions here.

If you don't have an Account

That's okay! When you encounter a paywall, click "Restore Purchases," and when asked "How did you purchase Opal?", select "Web." That's it! With just a few clicks, you can easily re-install the Opal app, recover your subscription, and access all the features.

Please note that if you have deleted the app and re-install it, you will have to grant Screenย Time permissions again. Also note that data that was stored on the app will be lost. You will have to recreate your Sessions, if you had any.
